semar, i'm just guessing that this badik might be gajang luk, or maybe salapu? but i'm pretty sure that the steel is called malela- black steel..
it appears that there is some sort of a mark at the base of the blade in the fourth photo.. hmm.. maybe other seniors here can help out.. |

the appearance is clearly Bugis. And the blade seems to be old and unusual but the fittings look recent!? ![]() Regards, Detlef |
