Thankyou Dom for the translation and your kind comments. Do you have any thoughts regarding the hilt. It is not the original but has obviously been in place for quite some time, as it shows good age.

Hi Stuart
when I look at it, my first thought is;
Asir/Hijaz jambyia "Sudanese type"
and the hit goes (on my point of view) with the scabbard

but, still yet for the general shape, is well "Whahabite"
specially the blade

Thanks for that Dom. I suppose that there is a possibility that the hilt is original, but must admit I had not thought it so.
