Do you have any thoughts regarding the hilt. It is not the original but has obviously been in place for quite some time, as it shows good age.

when I look at it, my first thought is;
Asir/Hijaz jambyia "Sudanese type"
and the hit goes (on my point of view) with the scabbard

but, still yet for the general shape, is well "Whahabite"
specially the blade
