Miniature Crete knife ?

Thanks to all replies. Mortar pestle.. It writes so in my cyber dictionary, for the tool which is used to crush material in mortar. Is it called something else?

And the cylinder, which I assume a miniature knife grinder. Yes it has wax, to imitate grinding stone I guess. I will continue to expect further opinions about these babies.

Hello Erlikhan,
I believe the miniature waxed cylinder may be for waxing thread to facilitate easier passage through leather.
I showed these pieces to my Wife who is a garment maker and she concurs that the small pillar like object (which you refer to as a mortar or pestle) is in fact a seam tamper which was used in conjunction with the small hammer to flatten a seam after it has been glued and sewn. The awl of course is to pierce the leather for the sewing needle.
