Unknown Shield Help Please

Terry, I believe your shield is from Abyssinia (nowadays Ethiopia). A search of the forum should produce threads where these shields are discussed in greater detail and pictures of similar examples.

Thank you very much. My search of the forum did just that. In fact it looks almost exactly like ones from the Amhara people of that country. A little help goes a long way.
