Thanks Sajen, I feel that we could expand the discussion to the various types of kris panjang (blades & sheaths) from all the concerned regions. I am particularly interested by the comment from Alan about wavy panjang blades and old panjang blades with pamor as I never saw any.

Hello Detlef,
Do you believe that the long blade with pamor is from Sumatra/ Malaysia or rather Java/Madura? Besides the presence of pamor, the ganja and sor-soran are different from the usual panjang krisses and the blade looks thinner and wider. And I would like to see more pics of pamor and wavy blades! The blade is thin because the blade has had a thick corrosion when I get it.
