I would agree with Vietnamese, based upon the ferrule style and commongly seen seemingly incomplete scroll style engraving on the spear head. Interesting to see the tangs. All three are nice pieces...thanks for sharing!

![]() This spear head is called "partisan" (Mâu) or "snake partisan" (Xà Mâu) in Vietnamese. If you noctice the spear head, it has snake shape with the shorter head is snake head and longer head is snake tail. This weapon not only good for parrying sword, but also for against shield. In Vietnamese, we have word "mâu thuẫn" (mâu: partisan and thuẫn: shield) is mean "contradict" ![]() |
