I'm not sure about the South East Asian one, but the African spear is from the Somalia region.

Regards.

The a-symetric point is something that normallu would make me think of Java.

But the shaft en de square decorational protrusion make me think of North Sumatra

Hello Ericlaude,

I don't think that the both spearheads are from Indonesia. Vietnam like Gav write seems to be a good point.

I would agree with Vietnamese, based upon the ferrule style and commongly seen seemingly incomplete scroll style engraving on the spear head. Interesting to see the tangs. All three are nice pieces...thanks for sharing! :)

This spear head is called "partisan" (Mâu) or "snake partisan" (Xà Mâu) in Vietnamese. If you noctice the spear head, it has snake shape with the shorter head is snake head and longer head is snake tail.

This weapon not only good for parrying sword, but also for against shield. In Vietnamese, we have word "mâu thuẫn" (mâu: partisan and thuẫn: shield) is mean "contradict" :) .

Similiar with this partisan, is weild buy master Trịnh Quang Thắng of Bình Định Sa Long Cương martial art guild.
