Default Opinions on this Madura kris?!

Hello,

Here is a Maduran kris that i like very much but seems a bit odd compared to most Maduran krisses I have seen and the other ones in my collection.

It is relatively small with a wilah of 30 cm without the peksi.
It is smaller and more refined I would almost say compared to what I consider to be regular Madura krisses that are quite big and bold.

What are your opinions on age, pamor, dapur etc.

and most of all why would it be so different, would it be for a younger person, is it a patrem kris or just a question of taste of the first owner?

I am interested in your views on this.

Regards, Erik

The blade , IMO has a Sumatran feel about it .
Very pretty keris .

This blade is only one inch shorter than a Anak Alang in my collection.
Can you take some photos in daylight ?

Rick, I agree with you. This keris blade isn't a Maduran blade. Sumatra came also up before I did read your post.

The edges of the wilah look beveled ala Bugis style .
