It's pleasure to share some photos Rick. I heard that keris called keris
lunglungan . The keris blade is old but lunglungan carved on sor-sor an area is not sure if it is old made. It can be added later on.

I think it is a keris bethok. And I think like you said the lunglunan is a later addition.
Certainly a nice keris.

Would love to see sharper photos of this keris.
It looks like a fairly modern revisioning to me. I very often don't like revisioned keris, but this one has a very interesting and whimsical flow to it. The revisioning of the old wrongko is interesting too. Again, nomally i would think the metal and gem work too out of place, not traditional work at all. But it really seems to fit with the work done on the blade. I don't know if i like it more than i might have the untouched blade because i don't have before pictures to compare, but i do think the piece has some appeal.

Actually would love to share more sharper photos but those photos above are only I have left and the keris is moved to Jakarta couples weeks ago, feel like missing strange keris for second time before have time to touch it and learn it about the keris shape
