Best thing I found on the Pasar was a large bottle of Sambal Peteh at Eur 5,-
My easy way of making Sambal goreng telor

Hi Willem,

I think you where too much "looking" in the foodsection of the pasar!

Maybe you have a good lunch next time "before" you go to the pasar, and not have lunch "at" the pasar! (then you have more time left looking for mandaus)

Groetjes,
Maurice

Hi Ben,

You arrived indeed at the right time.
Willem can look on it to the bright side. He got the sambal.
And I feel pitty for myself, cause I never arrived so I even got no sambal.

Thanks for your tip Ben.
I will be there next time. (but it will not be early in the day because of the traffic in the Netherlands on the highways). So Willem is the luckiest guy because he lives nearest and probably I have to leave with the sambal.
