Omani Khanjar
I offer this Omani Khanjar for sale. The handle is made of horn (possiby rhino) and mounted with handcrafted embossed silver fittings. The wooden scabbard is covered with leather at the frontside and is silver mounted, too. On the fittings you can see hand engraved and embossed floral ornaments and a moon. The leather is decorated with an archaic silver embroidery. The green felt on the backside of the scabbard is a later addition. The steel blade seems to be younger than the other parts, too.
Condition: Scabbard with some old worm holes, handle with missing silver parts at the pommel and a small piece broken off. Signs of wear and age. Please look at the pictures.
