Old telek arm dagger
At the risk of boring, my latest telek arm dagger from the tuareg people. As is often the case with these arm daggers, a thin steel blade with obvious hammer marks on the blade. What I had not yet seen, however, is the triangular piece of leather at the end of the scabbard. The telek appears to me to be an older variant, the scabbard is simpler in decoration. Has anyone seen this variant of scabbard? Comments of course welcome.

Nice daggers. I have not seen one with the triangular leather end to the scabbard before. This type I have seen attributed to Agadez in Niger, based on examples in the Quai Branly. A search of the Quai Branly database might be able to produce some results with similar decoration that may assist in dating.
