Many years ago I bought a very interesting Indian knuckle duster from one of the forum members from the UK (if he wants to write in the topic) (first photo). Brass knuckles did not cause and does not cause any doubts about its authenticity, and I am very grateful to this forum member for this interesting exhibit.
But I was quite surprised to see a knuckle duster suspiciously similar to mine, but richly decorated with gold (second photo), which was offered by a seller from India, at an ebay auction a couple of years ago. This item from the auction makes me doubt its authenticity. For example, it is very strange to decorate a knuckle duster (hidden weapon) with gold. Now such knuckle dusters decorated with gold and crafted by skilled modern craftsmen from India regularly appear on ebay auctions, probably becoming "rarities" in someone's collections
P.S. If anyone is interested in the evening, I can take a photo of other angles of this subject.
