Default New book" Arms and armor of Caucasus"

I just got a signed copy of the new book by Kirill Rivkin, the first one in English addressing this topic.

Gorgeously printed 320+ pages, 213 color pictures.
No publisher listed, ISBN 978-0-692-49481-3.

Perfect New Year gift ( I contributed some examples from my collection and ....payback is the sweetest thing:-))!

I just started reading it, and so far, so...excellent:-)

Will write a full review when I finish reading and re-reading it, but check the Amazon and order one ASAP.

Up until now the only one in English was the Miller's book from the Hermitage collection, but it was 99% about the museum. Kirill's one is a real deal: everything about Caucasian warfare, weapons, their typology, dating, ethnic patterns, evolution, decorations etc.

I am not going to work for the next several days: have something much better to do:-)

Happy New Year!
