Default Zoomorphic vessel, antique or not?

Hey guys (and girls ),

This zoomorphic vessel has been lying around in the attic for years until I recently rediscovered it... Once bought it on a flea market for 5 Euro as a decoration piece, but I wondered if it could actually be antique? I have seen similar vessels from the Iron Age in Israel and Iran.

What do you think?

Thanks & regards
Peter

I have this piece, which is a bit similar but not very old. Had always thought of it being from the Central America/Mexico area, but have no evidence for this...

Regards.
