Default This is the Kard I was looking for

I first saw this kard two years ago and wanted to buy it but didn't have the funds. Last year I came back to Jaipur and saw it again, but my bank card wouldn't let me get it then either.

This year I went back with cash and bought it. Very plain, no ornamentation, some spots, but mainly in good condition. Estimated to be Persian, over 200 years old. The third picture is a detail showing the fine wootz. Blade is, unusually enough, hollow forged, a very sophisticated and beautiful piece of work.
