Source for rattan?
Another question if I may?
Recently I purchased up an old Talibon knife; The scabbard is bound with a few bands of rattan, but two or three bands are missing. Does anyone know of a source for rattan to replace the missing bands? Thank you in advance! Richard. |

Try a craft shop or someone that deals with chair making or repairs. Roy |

Also Ferguson, Thanks for the helpful link on braiding!!! I'll have to take some pics to post and get your input on this knife. Thanks again, Richard. |
