I'm not sure that this was for parade use, but more for semi-daily wear.
Datu parade pieces showed more silver, ivory, gold, etc. And you are right Louie in your thoughts about parade usage. Also when visiting another datu they used the good stuff as well. Indeed it is a great piece. |

Nice all over, but one of the best barong scabbards I have seen, period.
