Yep, i agree, Palembang from Sumatra. This looks to me to be a very well formed and graceful blade and i agree that it deserves a good cleaning and re-staining. If the sheath is a good fit i would try to restore it. As for the hilt, there is no restoring that unfortunately. I would shop around for the same style hilt, there are a lot of them out there.
