So I threw it into the search machine thingy and here's what I got :
http://www.watertownhistory.org/Arti...Blacksmith.htm See the last line . Seems like it was a fairly large Mfr.  Could also fit the time frame; pre-40's WC CO stamped on the blade as noted .
