i have look at discussions and archives on this site and on web, now that i kwow the name of my weapons.
i have found only few articles about them, i have always not idea how old they are, if they are war weapons..... if you have some explanations on them i will be happy. another question is : must i clean them, and if yes, how? best regards l'audois |

Pakayun are rare. That is why you don't see much info on them , even on this forum. Ben / Dajak has a nice collection of them, and probably most threads you found concern his collection. If you don't know how to clean them , in this specific case, i would say. Don't clean them. They don't appear to be in a very bad state. So, just apply some oil to the blades, some bees wax / antique wax to the wooden scabbard and handles and let them be as they are. These are excellent examples and will get only scarcer.
