Well Gene, i confess i thaught of something more naughty . Sorry i was malicious.
But then i tell you that a guy out there, an assumed expert in the area, whom i once queried on this piece, has opined that, as far as he was concerned, this could be anything at all ... even a bearing for a shaft . I really had (have) to adopt a persisting posture, not to get disencouraged with such type of expertize.
