Thank you all for your kind comments. They make me like the piece even more.

The blade really is sweet. The laminations are tight and the blade is sharp and very hard. It also has those sparkly crystals in it. They show up in the photos as white spots near the center of the blade.

I thought it was interesting that the scabbard had been modified from the original. At least, that's what I'm thinking from the different metals.
