Domi...err Gilbo, we don't give appraisals here; you should know that .
You were much more polite elsewhere :

Hi Dominic,

Not sure what your story here is about, but do you have any measurements?

Nice find!

Default Im just some dude trying to save my business.

Fuel costs and our economy has taken a drastic dive here in Northern California. Im just trying to save my ornamental ironworks business. Not for me but for the guys who work for me the most. I believe that nothing is free. Anyone do appraisals? How much? Im just a dude looking for information. Im not a collector and am desperate. if anyone wants to own this? send me an offer to cgsent@hotmail.com or if you can steer me in the right direction because you have compasion for what im trying to do here.........That would be great. Thank you Carl Gilbert. One more thing. My town of Paradise California is on fire. Its getting thick ill tell you.

Hi Carl,
I'm comfused, the exact same sword is on the sword forum, posted by Dominic Grant, whom states that his location is Manningtree, in the UK.

http://forums.swordforum.com/showthread.php?t=89872

Several days later the exact same sword is posted here and is now residing in North California ....if I were Spiderman, my 'spidey senses' would be 'tingling'

Could you explain the confusion?

Regards David

I think we might be doing the "Gilbo" a injustice here. He is not Dominic as some suspect, his IP address is indeed from California, but there is certainly a mystery here as to why Dominic posted the same sword on Sword Forum.Carl, do you know Dominic?
As far as i can tell Carl you are more into heavy metal than ornamental iron, but then after listening to your music it is probably good that you have a day job.
Do yourself a favor. If you want to sell this read the rules first. You need to post it in our swap forum. We don't sell ot trade in this part of the forum. Sell it to the highest bidder if you will. You will not get an appraisal here i am afraid. But yes, it is worth "something" and if you take offers you will probably get a fair price for it.
Sorry to hear that your town's on fire.
