I don't know how I missed this one.

Isn't it odd that there would be English hallmarks on the pommel. The blade I understand, since it looks to be from some type of English saber.

I have the feeling that the pommel has come from a piece of Georgian silver tableware. It is probably only working as a cap.

From some hollow tableware that was hallmarked in 1777. The other marks are not clear enough to name who made the original item. Where and when this was added is anybodies guess. You can see there is a different quality to the metal when compered to the original native fittings.
