Default Interesting Yataghan

I was reluctant to buy it on a militaria show about a year ago. But since there was no other good stuff on that show, I've got it. Then I was selling it and nobody wanted it, so I decided to keep it.

Every day passed since then I became really attached to that piece. And now it is one of my favourite weapons. I prefer its archaic look over thoose 19th century overdecorated yataghans.

Rehilted sometime in its history with a cow horn hilt. (that's really a shame!)

The blade it is a treasure per se. Very oddly shaped with an ancient look, I dare to say 17th century (or maybe even 16th).

Do you agree?
