Just some background notes:
1. the blade was heavely rusted so I had to grind, polish, and etch it 2. the hilt was in pieces as you can also see in the pictures. I had to cut, rehilt the pommel, then make the silver upper and lower parts, then rewrap. |

I really appreciate when a piece is restored without losing its historical intregrity. That is exactly what you have done here. In other words it looks as it once looked without looking "new". Again, super work. |
