Good to hear from you. How fortunate to travel to Borneo.

There is a wealth of information available by searching this forum (click on "search" button above) and the former forum (go to the EAA home page and click on "UBB Forum 2000-2004">"Ethnographic Edged Weapons">"Search"). A search on these fora for "Dayak" or "Borneo" will be useful for you.

Because much of Borneo is Kalimantan (part of Indonesia), the following thread which talks about references for Indonesian weapons would be relevant too:

The book by von Zonneveld has illustrations of many weapons from Borneo. This will get you started and the other references cited in the link above will add to that.
