Paris has a well-known military history museum Musée de l'Armée, located within Les Invalides.

Its collections include historical arms and armour and artifacts covering periods from the Middle Ages through the modern era. It has minor collections of Asians and Far East weapons such as:

Ottoman swords and firearms
Persian weapons and armor
Indian weapons
Japanese samurai armor and swords
