Rondel dagger 15th century

Dear All,

I just got this rondel dagger, likely 2nd half 15th century. Reportedly from northern Germany. Could this be correct?
Does anyone know a depiction of that time, where one can see such a dagger?

Dimensions: Overall 31cm, hilt 10cm.

Looks original to me! Here a drawing from the Paduan bible from Italy cca A.D 1400.
