no idea where the knife is actualy fomr , the guy on ebay was saying it was mongolian , but ive not ssen such knives of this type from central asia,, of the mark i think , in in mongolian and kazakhstan and other areas of centralasia a knife ,, basicly the ansestor of the seax, was common inthe 10th centuary and eailer,, blades around 20 cms or so,, ,, basicly the same shape as the knife in the pic,, the handles were many times glued and pinned into animal bone handles as on the seaxes,, dont actual know when they died out for the pichok and pukko style knives popular in these areas,, although i think the pukko form of knife has always been there, still dosnt look south east asian to me ,, |
