Default Indian steel walking stick or mace ?

Hello dear members,

It is not already in my possession but
I will soon receive this item sold as
a dignity stick, possibly indian.

For a stick, it is not that long,
70cm long/ 27,6 inches , so small even for a small person I think...
It looks like an indian crutch but with a
''Colonial cane shape'' ?
Maybe could it be used as a mace ?
''Tourist item '' ?
900gr weight /1,95 pounds

Glad if someone has informationsan advice about it.
Kind regards

Fakir or derviche crutch seems a good idea...
Maybe a cousin...
Some models had concealed blades

Fran, Marius:

I think you have pretty much nailed this one. The tip of the OP and the first example shown by Fran look very similar with that flat end. A variant of a fakir's crutch (despite its short length).

Thank you Ian and fran for your messages,

I hope I will receive it soon and will post pictures.

Maybe there is a concealed dagger 😁
I hope but I don't think.

I finally get it,

Nice but
I don't think we can unscrew the bottom end...

For.the animal final face , can it be a makara head ?

For.the age, 19th century ? ?

Kind regards

I don't think we are looking at a weapon here. Perhaps better suited to the Miscellania Forum.

Thanks David. Yes, it does not have a blade and could only really be used as a short club/truncheon if necessary. Over to Miscellania.
