Khyber knife with koftgari work and tribal repair for sale
Offered is an antique Khyber knife with silver and gold (? not tested) koftgari work at the base, partly gone, one side is in better condition than the other side, the koftgari work at the spine of the blade is only partly received. There is a forging flaw on the spine of the middle of the blade. The brass bolster plates are different on both sides, I guess that it is a tribal repair. The horn handle grip on one side shows a repair with resin, also a tribal repair in my opinion. Blade in good condition, without nicks at the spine and any pitting.
