Yes a more recent piece but still cool to have. The prominent cross in the gap { I read some where that is used to pin an opponent down at the neck

Thanks for your insights Tim. Are they usually this large? What I found interesting was the sharpened edges which would make it as effective as a slashing weapon as a smashing one.
Do you think that the bow comes from the same region? |

All the decoration is Shipibo right down to ceramics which is quite common. All the clubs I have seen like yours, or that appear to be older are quite long.
