Default Club I.D. please

I picked up this club from an antique shop with no provenance or info. It is 30 inches long, heavy and solid and has been handled/used. My question, is it South Pacific? African? Weapon, ceremonial club...or milk churn?? Thanks for any help with this.

Very hard to sure of where this comes from. To me it looks like something from the Solomon's or Vanuatu brought back by service men.

Thanks for the reply Tim. I see similar bits in several Asian Pacific clubs, but nothing obviously alike. I'll just keep searching.
