just got a new knife / little dagger ; total length 30 cm, knife 26 cm

first thought it might be a Balkan one as many indications point into that direction.

But some of the marks on the blade make me doubt...
as I have not seen them before....
what are your thoughts?
What do you think might be the origin ?

FYI: I got them in a lot of Ottoman bichaqs and knives from te Balkans, but as we know not all that glitters is gold

concerning the markings on the blade; just found on a Croatian site on the internet a knife, with this description "BEAUTIFUL DECORATED BLADE CIRCA 1880 MADE IN BOSNIA, TOTAL LENGTH : 25.5cm HANDLE LENGTH : 11.5 cm
BLADE LENGTH : 14 cm BLADE WIDTH : 2.3 cm HANDLE MADE OF HORN/BONE'

how do you judge the markings of mine, the above versus this one ? or do you think it is completely something different ?
