The Arabic inscriptions are invocations of various Beautiful Names of God (traditionally held to be 99, though according to strict theology infinite in number), including

يا اله

"O God!”

يا رزاق

"O Sustainer”

يا سلام

"O Peace!”

etc.

Can’t help you with the Indian language inscription I’m afraid!

Thank you very much Kwiatek! Great to know what the inscriptions say on the handle.

Pleasure! I suspect the inscription on the blade is in Kannada, but I’m far from sure

Default Possible Devnagiri Numbers

Hi RSWORD,

The first digit appears to be a Devnagiri 2 and the second digit may be a 5 (although the curlicue at the bottom is atypical. You can look up Devnagiri numerals on line and see what you think.

Sincerely,
RobT
