Also keep in mind that they are more likely to scrutinize large lots of swords than the single blade shipped from a dealer or ebay seller.
How do you hide stuff INSIDE a blade anyway? That's a nifty trick.
Anyway, these custom guys do have x-rays and other scanning devices so i don't think they are likely to just start taking apart antique swords and daggers in their search without due cause.
