You have a very nice Balkan yataghan, and if I am reading the date correctly, it would be from 1863-64. These hilts of large walrus ivory slabs with rounded ears were popular throughout the area in the 19th century, but especially during the second half and in the Western Balkans.

May I ask where you see a date or what etching is the date?
I hope to fine what the inscription are on the blade say.
