Hilt seems to be a thinly-disguised clump of fern-croziers, thus it is an Eloek Pakoe variant.(I say 'thinly-disguised' because overall, it is made to look like a Djawa planar hilt, suggesting the style was adopted after 1579). Have a look at the end of the metal strip. Does it look broken? If not, then it is normal. It was put there as is as a strengthener. Best, |
