Very nice!

But it doesn't look like Bali.
That style of floral hilt and scabbard is found mostly in the Padang High-/Lowlands
(W Sumatra) but also around Banjarmasin (S Borneo).
My guess for this one is Sumatra.
I think it looks best with a bone tip.

Sometimes it's hard to find the right description or origin.

Can anyone show me a picture of how the tip should look like ? I already searched for bade-bade and there the tip is asymmetrical.

It is a badek from Sumatra. The round tip of the scabbard is inserted in the V incission in a contrasting wood, bone or ivory. Nice find.

I just remembered where I have seen this kind of Badek before -
on my own wall.
I got mine from Adni and he described it as a Karih.
As you know all Indonesian blades have several names...
