Hello Joe,
Welcome at our forum! Thanks, I was going to ask for those additional pics! ![]() The diameter of the tang had been reduced; it may never have been exactly circular - however, it seems to have been roundish at the gonjo. I'd suggest that the square cross-section is a later modification. Regards, Kai |

Hello Kai,
Thanks. Yes, the pesi got smaller size after the connection with gonjo. I attached more pictures about it. There is also 2 tiny holes near the pesi (I gave yellow colour dot on in that area). Is there any usability or meaning for that 2 tiny holes? Thanks, Best regards, Joe |

Hello Kai,
Thank you for your explanation. That makes me more love this keris. There is a quote here : "Tak kenal maka tak sayang". (Not knowing so can not love). Best regards, Joe Last edited by Bejo; 6th August 2017 at 05:12 PM. |

Atau mungkin:- sudah kenal, maka tak senang.
Not in respect of this keris, but that's the way your positive quote is sometimes commented upon. |
