Hi Vandoo the handle has silver wire, here are the pic s at the moment I did see this one I just wanna have it I don t much about these krisses but it is heavy and very big.

Very nice kris. I like the "basket weave" effect of the silver wrap on thehilt. This is not a unique example, but it is a very uncommon form of silver wire treatment on these swords. Ian. |

The blade is 57 cm and all over 68 cm wide 4 cm.

Hi Dajak, I think your 57 cm blade falls within the "normal" size range for the Moro kris. The antiques that I've personally handled have ranged from 47-58 cm. I've seen more recent made blades that are up to around 65 cm long. F. de Luzon |
