Hi David;
I live in KL. It has been quite a while since I went to National museum and I seem to recall that they do have a few keris on display but not very much. But if you want to see really excellent malay keris it's best to visit the collectors here. I know a few top collectors in and around KL and would be happy to arrange for you to meet them . |

Thanks Marcus
I have just returned from Kuala Lumpur. I also found two other public displays of keris in KL, one is at the house of a former prime minister Tun Abdul Razak, (unfortunately the blades are in their sheaths) and there is quite a large display at the Islamic Arts Museum of Malaysia (this also has a wide range of other arms and armour on display). I will post some photos from both collections in the next week or so cheers David |
