I HAVE SEEN SEVERAL OF THESE FLAT AFRICAN THROWING CLUBS. I HAVE BID ON A FEW I LIKED, BUT NEVER WON ONE. AS I CAN MAKE NO DIRECT OBSERVATION OF SUCH A CLUB I WILL ADD SOME PICTURES AND INFORMATION I HAVE ON SIMILAR AFRICAN CLUBS FOR COMPARISON.
#1. & #2. TURKANA CLUB KENYA, 17 INCHES LONG
#3. & #4. TURKANA, CLUB KENYA , 4 FOOT LONG
#5. LOBI DANCE CLUB, AFRICA
#6. 24. AND ONE QUARTER INCH, SUDAN THROWING CLUB
#7. SUDAN THROWING CLUB, 762 X 422 MM. LIKELY SHILLUK TRIBE, SUDAN

club arrived, decent patina, a few small cracks near the pommel end. just over a metre long, 310 grams. transitions from round haft to a squashed hexagonal x-section befor flattening out to the flared end.flat edges on the flaired areas. bit long for throwing. nice head basher.
