are zaghnols axes? i think they are generally lumped in with them.

I put them with war hammers/war picks but why not with axes here? Then there are the tabar-zaghnal.

Suspect India 18th century.
Heavy ax.
Wootz head.
Stem wood with schagrin leather .
In wood a reinforcement of iron.
