Hello,

I was watching this item, too, but refused to bid.
To me it looks like an old Mediterranean dagger, possibly an Italian hunting dagger. As far as I know daggers like these are known as Genuese daggers and were made from the 17th to the 19th century. Maybe someone can tell us more about these.
