Default First keris post

My first post in the Keris forum. I recently picked up a 'box of Keris' at a yard sale here in the Pacific Northwest. In it were these two complete Keris. I have some basic Keris info from books and what I have learned from this great web site, but I would like to hear any opinions on what I have here. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the keris world Protector. You may not get too many responses on these as they are not of a quality or condition that will necessarily get any seasoned keris collector all that excited, but you have probably done better than many first time keris collectors have. They are, at least, authentic antique examples. I assume that your "box of keris" didn't come with a very high price tag.
Actually the wavy blade in particular looks like it may have once been a fairly nice Javanese blade, but it has been eroded over many years of wear and acid etching. The hilt is a Yogyakarta style of the Javanese planar hilts. The sheath is a gayaman style (everyday wear) of no particular quality.
The straight blade seems is in better condition. Like the wavy blade it is out of stain so i cannot really determine the pamor pattern, but it looks like it might be nice if the blade were to receive a warangan (lime and arsenic) treatment. The hilt is crudely carved and looks like it might be of Madurese origin, but i think the blade is more likely Javanese. I am a bit uncertain on the sheath, but perhaps others can add more. It looks like a recent, but not very well executed version of an older north (?) Jawa form.
