Default Ah pre-dates Bilbo just a bit

Well it certainly predates the films at least but it is an oddity. As I say, blade looks good quality and right, for a fighting knife. Pommel, which doesnt show well on the photo looks very old, with good patina. Wood is undefinable in age but is very well shaped to the hand. Cross guard, is rough, almost of a handforged quality to make it appear older. I'm stumped...oh and no makers name or marks.
